Kevala and Life Care Centers of America's Northwest Division facility teamed up to orchestrate a lively facility-wide BBQ, recognizing and giving a reprieve to the Federal Way location’s hardworking care team.
Life Care Centers of America is a longtime partner of Kevala. One of their locations, Federal Way, has always been a “super” user of our Kevala Care Network.
Ryan Lockwood, the Executive Director of the local LCCA skilled nursing and rehab facility, had a brilliant idea to host a facility-wide BBQ. Kevala provided some of their Kevala Care Network to help cover shifts for the afternoon, giving LCC Federal Way's full-time employees a well-deserved break for the BBQ fun.
Over 150 guests got to enjoy a night of great food, live music, volleyball, and even a dunk tank!
Such events create a positive work environment, recognizing and appreciating employee contributions. Boosting morale and providing hardworking care teams with a well-deserved break is essential, as they are vital to every healthcare organization.

We had a total of 150+ people who came together to celebrate the building’s accomplishments during the Facility BBQ and it was a breath of fresh air to have everyone disengaged from the building for a short period of time to enjoy each other’s company."
